Yes! A brand-new species for my mid-Yare Valley list: unfortunately, not a bird! Saw my first Strumpshaw Hairy Dragonfly today - two, in fact! Also saw a Large Red Damselfly, so things are beginning to move. As for birds: a little quiet, really. Walked around with Stu and we saw or heard Little Egret, Swift, Lesser Whitethroat, Cuckoo, and a couple of Sparrowhawks......
Lots of butterflies: Peacock, Brimstone, Small Tort, Orange Tip, Green-veined White, Large & Small White and a few Holly Blues.
