Survivor

This old Koi is around eight years old: he has survived countless Heron attacks on our small pond and disappears for three months in the Winter. We thought we'd lost him this year, though, when we looked out the window to see a heron gulping down a large meal....

We put some newly-purchased small koi in the pond and suddenly there he was!
