It's amazing the variety of birds we have seen while walking around: today, this included a flock of four noisy Oystercatchers, a Buzzard and an all-dark bird with a down-curved bill and trailing legs....
Later, we had to take some rubbish to the Strumpshaw Tip: the resident Little Owl was at his post, until disturbed by a Great Spotted Woodpecker! The 'spot the Owl' photos were taken with Lin's phone!
