Nice to bump into Brian Tubby again, home from an extended break in Germany: he regaled me with tales of £2 bottles of wine and flocks of beer-drinking Alpine Choughs...
Beautiful sunny weather and no wind attracted quite a decent gallery to the Sandy Path, but the expected Bearded Tits put in just a brief and somewhat distant appearance. Flyover Redwings and Egrets were similarly unobliging photographically!
On the way home I stopped to take a few photos of the increasingly elusive Little Owl: always lovely to see in his favourite tree!
