Lizard Orchid

Linda and I had some business north of the city this morning, so we stopped off to see how Norfolk's only Lizard Orchid was fairing! It's grown a foot since we inspected it a fortnight ago, and some of the first couple of rows of flowers are beginning  to take shape: still a bit to go until it reaches its full glory, though....

There's been a lot of nibbling of the leaves: undoubtedly rabbits, since the plant is growing in the middle of an active warren!

There were several other interesting plants around, including this Comfrey: does the colour make it a garden escape?
